How Onboard Credit Is Calculated
Onboard credit is based only on the commissionable portion of the cruise fare—this is the same portion Disney Cruise Line uses to calculate travel advisor commissions.
It does not include taxes, port expenses, government fees, gratuities, travel insurance, airfare, hotel stays, transfers, shore excursions, or any Adventure by Disney add-ons.
A non-commissionable fare (typically $20–$30 per person, per night, depending on sailing length) is excluded from the calculation.
In simple terms, your onboard credit is based on the same cruise fare amount we are paid commission on.
Promotion Dates & Eligibility
- Offer is valid on qualifying new Disney Cruise Line bookings made between July 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026
- Cruise sailings must occur by December 31, 2027
- Onboard credit is listed in U.S. Dollars (USD)
- One onboard credit promotion applies per reservation and cannot be combined across multiple reservations
Important Booking Conditions
- If a reservation is modified before or after final payment and the cruise price changes, the onboard credit amount will be adjusted accordingly
- Complimentary upgrades provided by Disney do not change the onboard credit amount
- If a reservation is canceled for any reason, the onboard credit is void and cannot be transferred, reissued, or redeemed for cash
- Onboard credit is not guaranteed for bookings made within 72 hours of departure
- All offers are subject to availability and may change or be withdrawn without notice
Important Redemption Rules
- Onboard credit will not be provided as cash, a gift card, or a reduction in cruise fare under any circumstances
- It cannot be exchanged, refunded, or applied as a discount toward the total cost of the cruise
- It is only available as onboard spending credit once onboard the ship

- Unused onboard credit is not refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or refund under any circumstances
- Onboard credit cannot be transferred between reservations or combined
- One promotional onboard credit per reservation only
